Lamar Wins 2025 District 36 Intermediate (50/70) Championship

Lamar Little League captured the 2025 District 36 Intermediate (50/70) Championship with a strong, undefeated performance on their home field. Despite weather challenges throughout the week, Lamar maintained focus and delivered in each game to earn the district title.

The tournament opened for Lamar on June 14 with a 7–2 win over Rosenberg. After multiple weather delays caused schedule adjustments, Lamar returned to the field on June 16 and secured a 3–2 win over Alvin in a close contest.

That victory set up a championship rematch between Lamar and Rosenberg on June 18. With consistent pitching and timely hitting, Lamar once again came out on top, defeating Rosenberg 7–2 to clinch the title.

Congratulations to Lamar and all participating teams for their hard work, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit throughout the tournament. Lamar will now advance to represent District 36 in the next round of Intermediate division play.
