The 2025 District 36 8-10 (Minor) Tournament concluded with an exciting three-game championship series between Lamar and Needville, two strong teams that advanced as Area Champions through competitive brackets.
Lamar, representing Area 1, took Game 1 of the finals 11–9, while Area 2 Champion Needville responded with a 10–5 win in Game 2 to force a winner-take-all final. The championship game, hosted at Alvin Little League, was a tightly contested battle that saw Lamar edge out Needville 8–7 to secure the district title.
District 36 congratulates both teams for their outstanding efforts and extends appreciation to Alvin Little League for hosting the tournament.
