2024 District 36 Major Tournament Champion - Lamar Little League

The 2024 Major Tournament Area brackets were held at Brazoswood Little League, Sugar Land Little League and Lamar Little League, respectively, from June 15-22, showcasing some of the best talent in District 36.

On June 15, Lamar triumphed over Needville 10-0, while Brazoswood edged out West Sugar Land 6-5. The next day, Lamar dominated Brazoswood with a remarkable 31-0 victory, and Needville defeated West Sugar Land 10-0. June 17 saw Needville secure a 10-0 win against Brazoswood, but Lamar clinched the championship on June 18 by defeating Needville 9-2. Lamar emerged as the District 36 Major Area 1 Champions.

The Area 2 Tournament began with Brazoria beating Angleton 14-4, and Rosenberg overcoming Alvin 10-2 on June 15. On June 16, Alvin secured a close 9-7 victory against Angleton, and Sugar Land defeated Brazoria 6-2. Alvin continued their winning streak on June 17 by beating Brazoria 6-5, while Rosenberg triumphed over Sugar Land 6-3. Sugar Land bounced back on June 18 with a 16-1 win against Alvin, but Rosenberg secured the championship on June 19 with a 7-3 victory over Sugar Land, becoming the District 36 Major Area 2 Champions.

The tournament finals were held on June 21-22 at The Diamonds and Daily Park and Needville Little League. Lamar dominated both games against Rosenberg, winning 18-0 and 8-0, and claimed the title of District 36 Major Champions of 2024.
